HAT · Hike Activity Tracker
Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Who we are
HAT is made by bwo Cats!, a small independent studio. bwo Cats! is a hobby project and everything here is still a work in progress. You can contact us at hello@bwocats.com.
What HAT collects
Only what you add yourself: the peaks you've marked as completed, the hike times and dates you log, your goal and favourite peaks, and your app settings (such as theme, colour, language and display name). HAT doesn't ask for your location, contacts, camera or any other personal information.
Where your data is kept
Everything stays on your own device. There are no accounts, and nothing is sent to us or to any server. The peak list itself is built into the app.
Sharing and third parties
None. HAT has no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking of any kind.
Your choices
You can remove your data at any time by clearing HAT's app data or uninstalling it. Because nothing is sent to us, we don't hold a copy. If you have any questions, just email us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
